Another BUPA Great Run Event, another team Success!

With just 3 Great Run events to go to the end of the season, excuses might have been forthcoming after a long busy year. But No, we came up with the service again. A City Centre event with no ADSL Braodband available, it was either un-reliable & inconsistant mobile 3g for the events timings upload, or CCD's Satillite Internet Solution.

Our Mobile Satillite Van was given acces close to the timing hut and up went the parabolic dish and locked onto the Astra 3 satillite. A reliable and steady down and up signal was quickly achieved giving the network to upload over 7500 runners their finishing times in real time.

No Live TV feeds this time, but the recorded highlights can be seen on Channel 5 this weekend
