Apple admits iPhone battery suckage, promises fix
Apple has admitted to battery-sucking bugs in its recently released iOS 5, has promised that a fix will be forthcoming, and has seeded a beta of iOS 5.0.1 to developers.
Apple was asked for confirmation and/or comment, which they chose not to provide. They don't like us. Sigh...
"A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks."
